Contemporary Worship (8:30 a.m.)
Our contemporary worship service features a wide array of worship music lead by our Praise Team. Each Sunday as we lift our voices in praise to our Lord, we are also guided to a time of meaningful worship.
The message each Sunday is Bible-based and application-oriented, so we hear something we can put to use in our everyday Christian walk. The theme of Pastor Gary’s message is also reflected in his special time with the children – A Word for the Young At Heart. The hour includes time to pray over celebrations and concerns shared by those attending.
Loving childcare is available during worship, and children 3rd grade and younger have the option of going to special activities during the second half of the worship service.
Traditional Worship (11:00 a.m.)
Our 11 a.m. worship service features traditional hymns and an atmosphere that offers an oasis of spiritual calm.
You will be welcomed by beautiful music from our Joyful Noise Choir as well as hymns played on the piano or organ.
The message is the same as the 8:30 a.m. service, keeping the whole church on the same page regarding how we can live the Christian life.
Childcare is available throughout worship.
Holy Communion
Communion is shared the first Sunday of each month. We share a common loaf and grape juice as a congregation. Our table is open to all that are present and confess a love for the Lord. In conjunction with the Communion cup and bread, we provide an opportunity to make a communion offering that is sent as support to one of the missionaries that Epworth has adopted.
Seasonal Specials
Church in the Park: (August 22, 2010) Once a year we hold worship in a public park that is nearby. This provides an opportunity to reach out to our community with worship and praise without the formality of a building and walls. We celebrate on this day with a early morning breakfast before worship and fun family games after worship.
Christmas Eve: (December 24, 2010) Traditional two candlelight services are held on Christmas Eve.
Easter Services: (April 24, 2011) Easter Sunday we start our day with a quiet and reflective service at The Gardens Cemetery at 7:00 a.m. A brunch is served at the church between our regular 8:30 and 11:00 worship gatherings in the Sanctuary.
