Nursery Care
Each Sunday, we run a fun-filled nursery for infants and children under the age of six. Our nursery has two staff members that are available from 8:00am to 12:30pm. Jennifer has worked in the nursery for over 3 years and Samantha for 2 years. They are both certified for adult, child, and infant CPR.Sunday School Studies
Our Youth Sunday School program presents Bible based curriculum to students beginning with Kindergarten and going through High School. The classes are divided into age groups to accommodate maturity levels. The typical class groups are: K-1st,, 2nd– 4th, 5th & 6th, Jr High and High School. We would love to have all our Sunday School volunteers teach in teams, if you would like to try your hand at this task, contact Janice Gibson at 867-5620. For class information contact, Michele Berney at 423-7714.
Children’s Music-N-More
During the 8:30am Sunday worship service our music director, Sybella, runs a fun session of music, singing, and chime playing for children ages
4 to 12.
The children leave worship with Sybella after the Word for the Young at Heart and head up to Mark’s Room for the fun. At 9:30 the children can get a snack and then head to their Sunday School class and be ready to go home at 10:45. Occasional performances by the Music-N-More group are presented in the 11:00 service.
Kids Helping Kids
The goal of this group is two-fold: #1 to teach our children that even one child can make a difference in someone else’s life, and #2 to be a safety net for families in need. Kids Helping Kids is for children who are in kindergarten through sixth-grade, but many of our older children still participate in the special events held through out the year. Fund raising efforts go toward school supplies, groceries, coats, shoes, holiday dinners and gifts, help with shelter, medicine and ---if we can---tility bills.
Young At Heart Message
Each Sunday during the 8:30 worship service time is set aside for a Word for the Young-At-Heart. Children of all ages are invited to come up and sit on the steps at the front of the sanctuary so a special message designed for their understanding can be presented directly to them.
